Damn futon

The futon was purchased in July of 1999. It is our living room center piece. Isadora refuses to replace it with more adult comfortable furniture. She refuses to replace it even though the alley cats repeatedly use it to stake a claim to the interior of our house. Before sitting on the futon, you now have to run your hand along the seat portion to make sure there are no wet spots.

I became so determined to replace it that I researched furniture making on the internet. Found out it would cost just as much time and energy equipment and materials to make one.

With the economic downturn...I think this futon is staying.

I am pretty sure it is fire proof.
