My director sent me an email requesting an email that had never been sent by my manager. The email had never been sent...by my manager. It was sent by me.
I hope this doesn't make my manager look bad.
Always make your boss look good and your bosses boss look better.
Even when you feel they are not looking into your own self interest. They probably are but cannot disclose what they know.
Have faith. If you work hard, why should you worry?
